Costume Contest Winners

Over seventy contestants enjoyed the costume contest sponsored by the Vici Chamber of Commerce last Saturday. Here are your winners!

The nominations are in. The Citizen of the Year will be chosen from nominees: Mick Young, DeWayne Brown, David Trimble, Nick Campbell and Tami Camp. The winner will be announced at the Annual Chamber Banquet on Friday, November 3rd. Check with Coletta Goodman (Western Drug), Kevin Speer (Bank of Vici)  or Jennifer McCormick (Vici Vision) for tickets.

The Dewey County Historical Society recently inducted Robert Cole (Vici/Camargo), Peggy Cole (Leedey/Putnam), Karen Kimball (Taloga), David Beck (Oakwood/Fay) and Arlen Fisher (Seiling) to the DCHS Hall of Fame.

Vici High School Basketball Season will open at home at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, November 7th against Arnett.

The Quilt Trail extends north on Highway 34 with the installation of a quilt at the barn of Vernon and Anita Peck and another at a barn owned by Jim and Lisa Peck.

Ethan Hutches has been named the recipient of the first “Nightmare in the Country Scream Park  Higher Education Scholarship”.
