The Vici Indians wrap up regular season play with a home game against Drummond at 5:00 p.m. District pairings place Vici at Hammon on Thursday for a 1:00 pm game with Erick. The Lady Indians’ District Tournament will be hosted by Leedey starting Tuesday. Vici will play Waynoka at 2:00 p.m. Leedey will play the loser of 2:00 game at 3:30. Vici advances in winner’s bracket at Hammon Tournament


In the final week before district playoffs, The Vici Indians are adding W’s to their record, winning 4 of the last 5 games to be exact. Vici defeated Navajo in a late night finish, final score 2-1, at the Hammon Tournament yesterday. They advance in the winners bracket to play Hydro-Eakley today at 6:00 p.m. (Vici Indian games are online at

Oklahoma Election Officials Warn of E-mail Phishing Scam

(Oklahoma City) – Oklahoma State Election Board officials are warning voters to be cautious after multiple Oklahomans reported receiving phishing e-mails designed to look like communications from state or county election boards.

The e-mails indicate the recipient’s voter information has been changed or is in need of verification and contain a link to a malicious website.

Do not open links from any e-mail sent unsolicited from someone claiming to be an election official. All communications regarding changes in voter information or the need to verify registration information are sent by U.S. mail and not through e-mail.

People can verify their registration information, access other important information and contact the Oklahoma State Election Board at The election board responds to e-mails sent through a web form on its website. Those responses will always be from someone with an e-mail address and will not be sent unless you have provided your e-mail in an effort to contact the agency.

Military and overseas voters may receive e-mail from a no-reply address ending in, however all replies are sent directly to the appropriate county election board’s e-mail address.

Voters who are unsure of the authenticity of an e-mail claiming to be from the Oklahoma State Election Board or their county election board should contact the state election board at (405) 521-2391 to verify whether the communication is legitimate.

Game time is noon today for Coach Foster’s Vici Indians at the NW Classic Baseball Tournament in Woodward where they will play Cimarron or Ampo JV.

 The Vici Lady Indians held the Laverne Lady Tigers scoreless in their second win for the day Thursday, final score 5-0. Coach Dauphin and Lady Indians will play again at The Shattuck Tournament on Saturday at 10:00 am vs Seiling.


Tournament Times Delayed

The Lady Indians are set to begin play in the Shattuck Tournament today. Their first game with Texhoma has been pushed back to 1:00 pm. The Indians will take the field at their first game in the NW Classic Tournament in Woodward at 2:00 p.m. against Canute.
